About me

So, who am I and how do you know where my events are?

Well, I live in the North West of England and have a grown up family. I started my adventure into art relatively late in life, when the youngest member started school, but have always felt creative. As a child, an empty cereal box held a thousand posibilities and match boxes quickly became decorated drawers with ‘brass’ handles.

Nowadays, I have almost 25 years experience of ‘doing’ art in one way or another. I’m a fully qualified artist and have taught in both college and outreach situations. I’ve explored using art as a therapy and art as a pastime and have developed a passion for its process. For the last decade I’ve worked independently leading workshops and running regular classes. I’ve worked at large events like the Hay Festival and sold in smaller, more local, events.

My events are held in various venues where I feel the atmosphere and facilities are compatible with the event I wish to run.
